Balance in Our Church

Yesterday in my message, I talked about the importance of having balance in our church. I'd like to get your thoughts about which of the five areas - maturity, melding, ministry, magnification and multiplication - our church excels in and which areas we need to focus on more. Let me know what you think!

I appreciated the message on balance. I sometimes feel frustrated that people do not "meld". I think one of the things that I miss the most at Thornydale is the lack of fellowship. It seems like people are all busy, and not that into getting together to fellowship. I realize that we have many different interests and levels of "busy-ness" but maybe we could look at some different ways to fellowship.
I would be interested in a book study. I think the elders and men's Bible studies have read books together, but the women have not.... maybe that is an area where we could get together and have some fellowship that had more depth.

Are you suggesting a "ladies only" book discussion, or something that's open to everyone? Any other ideas on how we could do that?

i wonder...

Some good food for thought. If we are to have true fellowship, in the Biblical sense of the word, it seems that it needs to revolve around those things we have in common as believers. And certainly the Bible is a good place to start.
